Directory Short Code Assignment

What changed: Community managers can now create and assign directory short codes directly from the community page. Short codes are used for QR codes that visitors scan to access the directory.

Where to find it: CM sidebar > GuestView > Short Codes section

What you’ll see: A short code management interface where you can view existing codes, create new ones, and assign them to specific directory entry points (gates, doors, etc.).

What you need to do: Go to GuestView, scroll to the Short Codes section, and create or assign codes. These codes can be printed on QR code signs at entry points for guest access.

What you need to do: No action needed — the updated styling applies automatically.

Access Code Gate Controls

What changed: Community managers can now enable directory access codes for their community and choose exactly which gates allow code-based opening. This gives you granular control over which entry points guests can open with an access code versus requiring a video call.

Where to find it: CM sidebar > GuestView > Access Codes settings

What you’ll see: A settings panel where you can toggle access codes on/off for the community and select which gates accept code-based opening from a list of available gates.

What you need to do: Go to GuestView, find the Access Codes settings, enable the feature, and select which gates should accept access codes. Only the gates you select will allow code-based opening.

Manage Member Access Codes

What changed: Community managers can now view and manage all member-created access codes. See which members have active codes and disable individual codes when needed.

Where to find it: CM sidebar > GuestView > Access Codes section (member codes list)

What you’ll see: A list of all active access codes created by members, showing which member created each code, its schedule, expiration, and status. Each code has a disable button.

What you need to do: Review member access codes periodically from the GuestView page. Disable any codes that should no longer be active — for example, if a member moves out or a code was shared inappropriately.
