Scan Only Is Yours to Set, Once a Gate Has an NFC Tag
What changed: Scan Only means a gate can only be opened by tapping a Nimbio NFC card — normal in-app opening is switched off for it. The toggle was there but always answered “coming soon” and did nothing, because turning it on for a gate with no card to tap would lock everyone out. That worry is now handled directly: the toggle works, and simply won’t turn on for a gate that has no NFC tag assigned.
Where to find it: CM sidebar > Keys > the gates listed under a key.
What you’ll see: Switch Scan Only on for a gate that has a tag and it takes effect. Try it on a gate with no tag — or one whose only tag has been disabled — and the switch stays off with a message telling you to assign a tag first. If you disable, unassign or move the last working tag on a gate that’s already Scan Only, you’ll be warned that nobody will be able to open it — and can still go ahead, which is what you want when a tag has been lost or stolen and needs revoking immediately. Turning Scan Only back off is never blocked. If a change doesn’t go through for any other reason, you’re told why instead of the switch quietly flipping back.
What you need to do: Assign an NFC tag to the gate before turning Scan Only on. If you don’t use NFC tags, nothing changes for you.

Member Export No Longer Lists Disabled Gates
What changed: Exporting your member list could include gates that are actually disabled in each member’s list of gates. Disabled gates are now correctly left out of the export.
Where to find it: CM sidebar > Members > Export Members.
What you’ll see: The exported member CSV lists only a member’s enabled gates — a gate you’ve disabled no longer appears alongside the active ones.
What you need to do: No action needed.
