How does the Virtual Keychain help members manage access across multiple gates?

If your property has more than one Nimbio-equipped gate or door, the Virtual Keychain gives every member a single app view for all the access points they’re authorized to use.

What is the Virtual Keychain?

If your property has multiple Nimbio-equipped gates or doors — a main gate, lobby, and amenity gate, for example — the Virtual Keychain shows them all in a single app view. Each member only sees the access points they’re authorized for, and one tap opens the right door — no switching between apps or accounts.

Each gate or door on a property is its own controller, managed independently. Access point naming and status can be configured from the Community Manager portal.

Where to manage your property’s access points

Tap the Admin tab in the app, then tap the menu icon (the three lines, top left) to open the feature list for your property. (You can also log into community.nimbio.com on a desktop or any web browser.)

Which members can see which gates in their Virtual Keychain is determined by which access point(s) they were approved for when their access request was granted.
