How do I group residents or keys by home or address?
Attach a physical address to a member or master key so residents are organized by home or unit in your Community Manager portal.
The menu label may not say “Homes”
This portal section is called Homes by default, but some properties use their own terminology for it. Whatever the label says in your own Community Manager menu, the underlying feature and steps below are the same.
Grouping a resident by home or address
Attaches a physical address to a resident’s master key so they’re organized under that home going forward.
Open your Community Manager portal
Tap the Admin tab in the app, then tap the menu icon (the three lines, top left) and select Homes (or your property’s equivalent label). (You can also log into community.nimbio.com on a desktop or any web browser.) You can also start from a specific member’s record in your dashboard.
Select the resident’s master key
Find the member you want to group and select their master key.
Tap “Add Home”
Opens the field for entering an address.
Enter the physical address
This auto-groups the resident under that home or unit. Once entered, the address appears in a pull-down menu above the button so you can reuse it for other residents at the same address.
Removing a home grouping
Deletes the home entry itself rather than editing an individual resident’s record.
Select “Homes” from the menu
Tap the Admin tab, then the menu icon (three lines, top left), then Homes.
Select the home
Find the specific home entry you want to remove.
Tap the trash icon
Removes the home grouping.
