Spec sheet
Power
- Input voltage: 6.5V–24V AC or DC (accepts either supply type)
- Nominal current draw: 40–70mA at 24VDC
- Peak draw: 2.4 Watts
- Solar-friendly: low draw supports solar-powered and battery-backed gates
Cellular
- SIM: pre-installed multi-carrier SIM, no separate carrier contract
- Tower selection: dynamically connects to the strongest available tower — AT&T, Verizon, or T-Mobile
- Works internationally too — international customers should contact us to confirm regional network support
- Network type: cellular LTE, zero Wi-Fi required
- Cellular bands: LTE-FDD, LTE-TDD, UMTS/HSDPA/HSPA+, GSM/GPRS/EDGE — B1/B2/B3/B4/B5/B7/B8/B12/B13/B18/B19/B20/B25/B26/B28/B34/B38/B39/B40/B41/B66
- Firmware updates delivered automatically over-the-air
Environmental
- Operating temperature: ‑40°C to +85°C (‑40°F to 185°F)
- Storage temperature: ‑50°C to 125°C (‑58°F to 257°F)
Certifications & compliance
- Modem approvals: RoHS, REACH, CE (RED), JATE, Telec, FCC, RCM, GCF, PTCRB, IC — carrier-approved on AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and US Cellular
- UL compliance: not UL Listed. A strictly low-voltage Class 2 peripheral acting as a dry-contact trigger — it doesn’t alter or bypass the operator’s own safety mechanisms (e.g. UL 325 entrapment protection), so it has no impact on the host system’s compliance
Relay
- Type: premium Omron mechanical relay, one relay output
- Rated life: 50,000,000 operations
- Contact rating: 1A at 125VAC or 60VDC
- Behavior: momentary pulse by default; hold-open supported in constant-energized or repeating-pulse mode
- Relay On Time: 0.5s, 1.0s, 2.0s, 3.0s (factory default), 4.0s, 6.0s, 8.0s, or 10s — adjustable in Box Settings
Sensing & controls
- Sense lines: two general sense lines report gate/latch state, backing the Gate Status and Latch Status features; polarity is configurable via the Installer App
- Physical button: short press = admin mode, ~2s hold = reboot, ~10s hold = modem reset
- Self-monitoring: the board can auto-power-cycle itself if it hits an unrecoverable problem
Compatibility & antennas
- Fits inside standard gate operators
- NEMA weatherproof enclosures recommended for legacy Linear and Ghost Controls operators
- Works with virtually any electric gate operator, including LiftMaster, Linear, Ghost Controls, DoorKing (DKS), FAAC Technologies, and others
- Two antennas included with every device (2dBi / 5dBi+ rubber antenna, SMA connector); external higher-gain LTE antennas also supported for low-signal locations such as metal walls or heavy interference
