Wiring guide: All-O-Matic SL-100FP DC
This guide shows where each wire from the Nimbio terminal strip lands on the All-O-Matic SL-100FP DC’s ALL-BLDC circuit board, and which relay setting Gate Status needs. Gate Status: wired. Sense 1 and SC connect across the board’s RELAY-1 contact, and Nimbio maps the relay’s two states to the labels shown in the app.
Before you start
- Power the operator down at its supply before touching any terminal.
- The Nimbio terminal strip has eight terminals: PWR+, PWR-, Sense 2, SC, Sense 1, NC, C and NO. This guide wires Sense 1 and SC; Sense 2 is not used (see “Connections”).
- Power: PWR+ and PWR- land on the board’s 12/24VDC and COMMON terminals, rated up to 750 mA on 24VDC (500 mA on 12VDC). The Nimbio board draws 40 to 70 mA.
- You need a small screwdriver for the terminal screws.
Connections
| Nimbio terminal | Operator terminal | Number | Board | Note |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| PWR+ | 12/24VDC | — | ALL-BLDC circuit board, Rev. 9.0 | Rated up to 750 mA on 24VDC (500 mA on 12VDC). |
| PWR- | COMMON | — | ALL-BLDC circuit board, Rev. 9.0 | The COMMON between RADIO and RESET. |
| Sense 2 | Not used | — | — | Not used. RELAY-1 is a single N.O./COM contact, and one contact reports one state. |
| SC | RELAY-1 COM | — | ALL-BLDC circuit board, Rev. 9.0 | Sense common; the other side of the RELAY-1 contact from Sense 1. |
| Sense 1 | RELAY-1 N.O. | — | ALL-BLDC circuit board, Rev. 9.0 | RELAY-1 contact; behavior set with DIP S1/S2 (configuration 4). |
| NC | Not used | — | — | Not used: the operator input is wired to NO and C. |
| C | COMMON | — | ALL-BLDC circuit board, Rev. 9.0 | The COMMON directly above SAFETY LOOP. |
| NO | EXIT/OPEN CMD | — | ALL-BLDC circuit board, Rev. 9.0 |

When the wiring is done, restore power at the supply. A Nimbio support team member then calls to test the gate before you close the panel.
Settings on the operator
The RELAY-1 contact’s behavior is chosen with DIP switches S1 and S2 on the ALL-BLDC board. This guide sets it to configuration 4: active when the gate is not fully closed. Confirm the setting for your site with Nimbio support during installation.
Gate Status
Gate Status: wired. Sense 1 and SC connect across the RELAY-1 contact, set to configuration 4 (DIP S1/S2): active when the gate is not fully closed. Nimbio maps the relay’s two states to the labels shown in the app. Sense-line polarity does not depend on the wiring. Nimbio maps each sense line’s triggered and untriggered state to an Open or Closed label after installation. If Gate Status shows the opposite of the physical gate, contact Nimbio support to have the labels switched; no rewiring is needed.
No suitable output on your operator? A magnetic gate switch can report the gate’s position instead: wire its two leads to Sense 1 and SC for fully closed, or to Sense 2 and SC for fully open. The switch must be a dry contact that puts out no power of its own; if yours puts out power, add a relay that turns it into a dry contact.
