Wiring guide: Amazing Gates 900 HD

This guide shows where each wire from the Nimbio terminal strip lands on the Amazing Gates 900 HD’s control board. Gate Status: not supported. The manual documents lock and alarm outputs only, with no gate-position output, so this guide does not wire Sense 1, Sense 2, SC or NC.

Before you start

  • Power the operator down at its supply before touching any terminal.
  • The Nimbio terminal strip has eight terminals: PWR+, PWR-, Sense 2, SC, Sense 1, NC, C and NO. This guide wires PWR+, PWR-, C and NO; the other four stay empty.
  • Power: PWR+ and PWR- land on terminals 10 (24V DC output, 1 A maximum) and 11 (GND).
  • You need a small screwdriver for the terminal screws.

Nimbio maps each sense line’s triggered and untriggered state to an Open or Closed label after installation. If Gate Status shows the opposite of the physical gate, contact Nimbio support to have the labels switched; no rewiring is needed. No operator setting is changed by this guide.

Gate Status

Gate Status: not available on this operator. The 900 HD’s terminal list documents lock outputs and alarm outputs only; no gate-position or limit-switch output exists, so Sense 1, Sense 2, SC and NC stay unwired. Contact Nimbio support if your installation needs Gate Status.

Frequently asked questions

Does this guide give Gate Status on the Amazing Gates 900 HD? +

No. The manual documents no gate-position output on this control board, only lock and alarm outputs, so Sense 1, Sense 2, SC and NC are not wired. Contact Nimbio support if you need Gate Status on this gate.

Which Nimbio terminals open the gate on the Amazing Gates 900 HD? +

NO and C, wired to the Swipe Card terminal (4) and COM (5). The Nimbio relay closes NO to C, which the 900 HD reads as an open command.

Is the Nimbio NC terminal used on the Amazing Gates 900 HD? +

No. The operator input takes the NO and C pair, so NC stays empty.
